I know of two places but there's probably more.
One looks like a Wild West Bar on petchkasem road going north on west side of the street opposite the Buffet place. Hope someone else can pinpoint it better.

The other place is behind the Grand Hotel. Entrance from the railroad street. Freestanding building.

Funny thing (or different) is, bring your booze bought anywhere and pay/buy for ice, coke, soda whatever and opening of the bottles and enjoy. Good entertainment.

Isn't there the place on the Pala-U Road as well? Across the road(ish) from Big C? Luck Nam (or something like that). I've never been, but my son likes it there.

Are you looking for traditional Thai county music, or some of the more modern 'hup-huk' ska music?

Sorry don't have names but right know trying to find them via Thai Facebook friend.
Also tried to spot them on Google Earth but resolution is to low.
Will be in Hua Hin next month visiting these places but maybe too late for you by then.

Carl1790,
In the meantime search for Thai rock on SoundCloud, there's some to find there unless you did already.
Otherwise there's a lot of other interresting/different music to find as well.

Hello Carl,
I promised to look for the rock clubs but the one across the Petchkasem Buffée doesn't seem to exist anymore and the other along the railway road I couldn't pinpoint (saw it though) since my driver was going too fast.
I think the best option is to talk to some local youngster.
