The dark side is what some of locals call area behind the Hilton where the late night activities take place
Now semi retired 60:40 Thailand: UK ( seems to be working well)

When I was single and went for hunting I used to go to Market Village, the bankoffice, 7/11 etc, anywhere but not a bar.
Sometimes I wish I still were single..

Indeed. Walking along the beech is another good one... A bar is absolutely the worst place to 'pull' anywhere in the world, here even more so (if you believe that you're the one that's 'pulled' in such a situation, you've already lost the game)!
