Film legend Sir Christopher Lee dies

Post by Spitfire »

Wow....a true cinematic great that towered above almost all others. A true loss who acted brilliantly to the end. Not sure what else to say other than stunned.....sad.

Obviously been all over the news today - as you say a true great who at 6' 5" did literally tower above almost all others!! I was brought up on Hammer Horror movies with Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing - scared the life out of me as a kid!! :D

Not trying to hijack the thread, but another great (although not in Lee's class) in Ron Moody (best known for his portrayal of Fagin in OLIVER!) has also passed away aged 91.

With Christopher Lee passing aged 93, they both obviously had a great innings and enjoyed full lives. :thumb:

R.I.P. Both and thanks for the entertainment!!
