Khao Takiab map

Here is the updated Takiab map, real estate is not included as this is a bar/restaurant map.

We were out yesterday morning re-checking the Khao Takiab area for map updates. Changes that were spotted are:

New, between Molina and ICI Bistro is Vitamin Sea
New, near to Jalerm is ChaMilkTea
New, next door to Corner Cafe is Heaven's Kitchen

I will be passing the changes to our map maker tomorrow. As usual, if you know of any errors or omissions, I'd be grateful if you could advise before then.

Isn't there a new place opposite American called "Time Machine"? Bar with live music I believe.

Thanks huahin4ever, you were right, but I think I can be excused for missing it. Surveys are carried out during the day, and that must be the largest building/smallest sign ratio in Thailand

Anyway, it has been added.

It was time to check the accuracy of the Forum's map again yesterday. Differences spotted were:

New, between Lost and Dee Dee Cafe is Pizza 1112

Gone - S'Mor Spa (at least the surf board has gone, and the remaining signage looks very run down - can somebody confirm?)

Then the surprise. I crossed the small bridge over the river, and The Bridge, Bakery Corner and The Sea Market had all been raised to the ground. There was a sign there saying under refurbishment, re-opening in April 2015, but if you look at the photo, that is highly unlikely.

As usual, I'd like to hear of any errors omissions. I will forward the results to our map expert in 24 hours.

Pizza 1112 is actually the Pizza Company, probably the largest pizza chain in Thailand. 1112 is the number you call them on, so I'm told.

Thanks, yes you're quite correct. We tend to call them Pizza 1112, but even the signage says quite clearly it's The Pizza Company

On a rare but wet morning for Hua Hin our intrepid team has been out checking the accuracy of our maps again - this time Khao Takiab. Because of the dire conditions, some photos were taken from the car, and we totally wimped out at the Southern end of the map. There were 2 eateries advertised, but not easily seen. If somebody could give more information, maybe we can still add them.

Our recorded changes and additions going North to South are:

GONE - Green Garden has been replaced by a couple of new build houses.

NEW - I am Bar and Restaurant - we could see the sign, but couldn't actually find a bar/restaurant. Question, is this actually FIFA Restaurant?

It's "hueaay" bar. I've been there with my girlfriend a couple of times. A fairly typical Thai-style bar.

Thanks for that - most original bar name yet.

Actually, I drove past the sign with Mrs BB sat beside me earlier today, and she said it was Oy Bar, which is boring in comparison. Therefore, I'll update the paperwork to read Hueaay Bar - a much nicer sound
