Prachuap Khiri Khan City Pillar Shrine

Whilst on top of Chong Krajok Mountain earlier in the day, I spotted this unusual looking monument, and made a mental note of the location, and the need to visit before I started my journey home. This monument was quite busy with worshipers, and photographs inside the shrine were strictly forbidden.

Interesting style - very reminiscent of Khmer or Dravidian architecture

Yes, in fact the tourist leaflet said, "Constructed in the Lopburi style of art."
