Were there any reported fatalities as a direct result?

If I had my way there would be a few dead drivers around but Mrs. M reminded me about the Christmas spirit

That has to be unlucky, twice in quick succession. Was it just rain, or did somebody open the dams again?

Is the erosion as bad this time?

It hasn't stopped raining for a week, 2m high tide this morning so the flood water has nowhere to go. Will try and go out to get some more shots in a bit.

Was your New Year camping north or south of there? If south, I imagine underwater as well. Pete

South, but there were no storm systems around at that time, this is what is causing our grief at the moment ... it has been there for a week.

Another good video - thank you.

Early in the video, the erosion seems to be even closer to some of those properties. Is this compounding the previous erosion, or was it repaired and has happened again?

The bungalow at 2:00 is us. Not in BS at the moment but it looks as if the beach washed out but the repairs mainly held. We repaired to a certain point then let tides do the rest.

Currently watching the news and the hospital is flooded. Last storm they had to cross the parking lot in boats, same now
