Went along for a look yesterday, had a chat with a couple of the green keepers but couldn't get a confirmed opening date. Lets hope they let the aliens on there and don't start charging silly green fees! They let me wander round and take a few shots ... looks pretty impressive:

I walked around on it last week and it looks like it's nearly ready to go, but a worker told me the opening will not be until September. The golf instructor at the driving range at the entrance to Suan Son said July so it still seems to be a mystery.

How much is Tanachat yearly, maybe this one will be the same since they are both military... and does Tanachat offer longer (than yearly) memberships?

Drove down to the end of Khao Takiap this morning beach side, took a small walk on the beach and there was the golf course. Had a stroll around, looks very nice, very open, maybe more trees need planting, but the grass is very green and lush not a bit like Thanachat. Roll on opening day and the price list!

Tanarat and Takeib are unrelated courses in terms of where the money came from, Takieb is Bangkok army money, expect prices to be around 1500bt. I think some of the agents are meeting them soon to be told what is happening. This is what i have been reliably informed!
