i do know buksida that there will be a party, at the end of the temple, featuring a bike club fundraiser, with many mc clubs putting on food, and live music. the event will be sposered by chang beer and our mc as well. its in that park at the end of the road leading east out of the temple. Smack bang in the middle of town. Its going to be called welcome to hua hin party. Hope that helps, i am not sure if its to do with the vampires, but a lot of other clubs are going to be there.

Just a bump to this one as it is on Saturday - we contacted the organisers but got no response, but their website has been updated to confirm the venue as 48 rai.

Friday is a soft start to the big party on Saturday, December 3, 2011. The party starts officially at 18:00 and the music stops at 24:00.

The program includes:

Motorcycle show
Tattoo competition
Live music
Good food for foreigners and Thais
The sale of motorcycle accessories and equipment from dozens of stores
Thousands of large motorcycles
Fundraising for flood victims in Bangkok and EMS equipment
Friends and lots of fun

Missed this year but it was probably as good as last year

Anybody got any feedback?

Heard that there was a 150 Bht entrance fee and many, including bikers, turned away in disgust!!!

I'd have paid up as it's a great event with good bikes, good food, good atmosphere and good music

Yes, the entrance fee was 50 baht more than last year though I doubt any bikers turned away considering that extra 50 baht went to help flood victims.

Was a little better than last year IMO - the coyote dancers were back!

I was on the road this morning, Hua Hin to Bangkok. Passed by a group of big Honda touring bikes. Spoke briefly with one of them later at a gas station and he said they were up from Singapore. I guess for the bike week, but completely slipped my mind to ask them! Very nice pieces of machinery though, and a friendly rider. And much better behaved on the road than the last lot I run into from Malaysia!

Those photos make me wish I had a bike...
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

I'd gotten the itch again, and since we had to cancel our Thailand trip, bought a Harley Fat Boy :D
