I went down to Market Village earlier to look at the pets parade, but was disappointed. So I thought I'd look for this week's checkers competition - couldn't find it
This is what I did find:
Pretty amazing - what seemed like hundreds of people receiving ink, some in very intimate places
I wanted to photograph some of them, but decided it would border on voyeurism. It was quite an incredible sight, and goes on until 10 tonight.
If you fancy a bit of body art yourself, or just like to watch, it's worth nipping down.
As a bit of a sideshow, there were some great looking bikes (please excuse me if they're actually crap - I was impressed, but I'm not a biker). There was one guy dressed in his gear (no idea what else you can call it) - he definitely caught the eye. I think his purpose in life was to sell some cool looking helmets (they might even protect your head if worn at the time of an accident).

I wasn't expecting this convention whatsoever, and I felt it was quite an amazing find - unfortunately it only runs for another 6 hours.
