TMB have now been announced as new backers of TOT, so I guess that's CGF's ties officially severed now.

At least that removes the complications from Hua Hin's point of view of the owners being involved with 2 clubs. As far as I can tell, CGF still haven't said a word on the matter.

I wonder when we will get more information on what is going on with regards Hua Hin???

Well, how am I not surprised that our owners would completely balls-up everything that they touch. They basically sacrificed the chances of Hua Hin City getting out of Division 2, by legitimate means, by loaning out some of our better players, moving, for most of the time at least - our coaching staff - thus depriving Hua Hin City players of their expertise which resulted in our demise not helped by the fact that our players were not receiving their wages while they steamrollered into TOT to fulfill their dream of owning a TPL team, or if they are relegated, a First Division side. The rumours were circulating as to what will happen to our club but these glory hunters remained silent. It now appears that they have been bombed out of TOT, so they have a large helping of egg on their faces now, so they will be instantly recognised in Market Village. These people simply cannot be trusted to do anything right, and it was not as if they had not been warned, but they carried on regardless making Hua Hin City a laughing stock. Sponsors will no doubt run a mile now before getting involved in the club and possibly some of our players will be doing the same. Not getting paid for several months has that effect on people. So what now for our club? Is there a ''Roman Abramovich'' willing to put his money where his mouth is waiting in the wings or are we going to be stuck with Laurel and Hardy!!!

Actually, I thought we were doing pretty good in 2014 (I still blame Phichit for us not doing better). Did we need all of that cash, which rumour now tells us didn't really materialise? More importantly, did we need to decimate a team of champions and bring in all of those players, the likes of which the league had never seen before?

We definately needed something because at the end of the day we were not good enough. Three or four players maybe but certainly not the wholesale changes that we eventually saw not once but twice. Move on 12 months from then and we have found out that we are still not good enough. These people have led us a merry dance with a whole stream of bullshit, lies and false promises and it was not that long ago that [Edit]Bik Dam Marcus spoke to GD and told him something like "You will like what is going to happen because I know I will". Well we are still going to be in the 2nd Division, which we certainly looked like getting out of up until the Samut Sakhon game, so I can firmly say that even he is talking out of his backside. I did not agree to the possibility of buying our way out of the Division in the first place, because it is damn near impossible - a lottery if you will at the least and total fiasco at worst, but I would have accepted it albeit reluctantly. Losing even one game, like Seemok did, does not guarantee even finishing second and getting a place in the Champions League. We won our Division the previous year and yet we are still in it. What now? Are these jokers going to cut and run after throwing all their toys out of the pram? Are the players, which to me is more important, going to stay and fight for us or will they seek another avenue that will more than likely guarantee they will get a salary at the end of the month? It is a shambles and I haven't even mentioned the new stadium at Takiab yet!!!

I agree, the Champions needed re-enforcement, but definitely not decimating.

A minor point, but I think GD was talking to Marcus.

Was talking to a girl from Buriram last night who lives in Hua Hin and she told me that Hua Hin were playing Buriram in a friendly next month.

Dont know how much truth there is in it.

I doubt it. The Hua Hin team would have been disbanded weeks ago after failing miserably to extend their season into the second half i.e. Champions League. I don't know, but I'd guess many of the players will have been told to pack their bags, and try to get a game elsewhere next season.

I know there was a Prachuab vs Buriram planned at some stage. There's picture of the poster here, but I can't read the month. [Edit] Just had it confirmed, the poster states November.

Yes I took what she told me as highly unlikely.

I drove past the ground a couple of hours ago and noticed the Grand Knobs Stand has been decorated with bunting to make it look pretty. However, they've moved away from the traditional blue and white, and it's now purple and white.

Does anybody know what's going on? Is this a change of identity? Is somebody else moving in?

Yes, I'd have probably gone with my son if it was a little later, but Prachuab in an hour, from the North side of Hua Hin is probably pushing it a bit - especially on a Saturday. After the 2014 debacle, Prachuab will always be the enemy in my eyes, but it would have been nice to see the Buriram team play.

Yes, they have an active youth academy, and an U.19 team. It's a shame that publicity in this town is so poor - I'd have probably gone down to watch. The winners could have been part of the footballers presented at last night's comedy show.

If it was an outside sponsored tournament, it could explain the strange livery in the knobbs stand.
