Our first Western Thailand Football Academy League Man of the Day from last Sunday was Moss Charisee who inspired his side to a 2-0 win.
Cheered on by his entire watching family, Moss provided two assists to finally kick-start his strangely lethargic Under-16 team into action,
For the first, he bravely ran to the byline to lay the ball on the plate for his teammate, Danny Collins, to bundle home. Despite injuring himself In the process, Moss but also proved that speed was his greatest asset, just as he had told former England international Gary Stevens during training the previous day.
Shrugging off the pain, a few minutes later, it was Moss’ shot that was well saved, allowing teammate Justin to tap home.
Great work Moss and more of the same for the remainder of the season please.

They couldn't raise a team of girls BB, so mixed in a few of the fringe players from their boys team, but willingly forfeited the points. All played and done in good spirit, as were all the games.
By the way, there are always three 'halves' so that the fringe players in the squad always get a game, but the result (for the points) is the score after two halves... if that makes sense.

Former Brighton, Tottenham and England star Gary Stevens very kindly surprised the Dusit Thani Hua Hin Football Academy kids with a visit during a training last Saturday.
He spent plenty of time overseeing the sessions and passing on valuable advice for all age categories. Having appeared in both an FA Cup final and the World Cup, he then regaled everyone with stories from his career, including how he felt as part of the England team whose World Cup dream was shattered by Diego Maradona’s infamous ‘Hand of God’ goal.
More recently, likeable Gary has been working in Thailand as the manager/head coach of Thai Premier League sides, Thai Army and latterly Thai Port.
We are hoping to have the opportunity of working more closely with Gary in the not-too-distant future, but for now would like to thank him for his time and putting a smile on all our players’ faces and giving them the motivation to keep chasing their dream.
