"Hua Hin of Yesterday 2015" is to be held from 24 April to 3 May at Hua Hin Queen’s Park in order to promote tourism and local culture and also to commemorate the auspicious occasion of the 65th Royal Wedding Anniversary of His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen on 28th April.
The event is organized by the provinicial admimistation of Prachuap Khiri Khan, in cooperation with Hua Hin Municipality and tourism operators.
One main objective is to foster cultural identities of Hua Hin, one of the world’s popular beach resorts with retro atmosphere that can persuade visitors to reminisce about earlier days of the town.
The event will encompass a wide range of activities such as contemporary music performances, light and sound shows, Thai silk fashion show, Miss Hua Hin Contest, cultural shows and folk plays.
The event will be officially opened on 24 April at 7.30 p.m. and run until 28 April when people from all walks of life in the province will join a grand procession in honor of Their Majesties the King and the Queen. The procession will begin at the Hua Hin Clock Tower and conclude at the Queen’s Park.

Re: "Hua Hin of Yesterday 2015" will commemorate Royal Wedding Anniversary
I went to this on the opening night, Friday. If you have toddlers there's a fun fair with train rides on a flat track, cars on an elevated track, small ferris wheel, carousel, two bouncy castles and a couple of other rides. Also stalls with shooting range and a small market. And lots of food stalls and a couple of beer stalls, one conveniently situated next to a chicken kebab stall!!
There's a stage with a live band by the seafront and some food stalls in that area but the main event and fair is to the left as you enter immigration car park with another stage that hosted two bands on the opening night and where the VIP's and opening speeches were held and a lot more food stalls and the 2 beer stalls with draft Leo and plenty of tables and chairs.
