Our Dusit Thani Hua Hin Football Academy Under 7 kids would have loved to have had the opportunity of taking part, especially as there will be no training on Friday or Saturday this week when the pitch is unavailable due to a royal visit during the bike ride to Rajabhakti Park.
Unfortunately, no invitation was forthcoming (We note how one of the sponsoring schools has been proudly bragging how easy it was in their two matches to date).
Never mind, onwards and upwards. There's plenty of worse things that happen at sea.

Sorry DTHHFA, I put events up as soon as I see them. Unfortunately I didn't see this one until the day it started.

No problem BB, not your fault at all and appreciate all that you do. We actually heard about it a couple of weeks ago, just disappointed that it was a bit 'closed shop' and there was no invitation. Apparently only open to school teams, if we understand correctly, though there are several very competent local academies who would offer a bigger challenge to the bigger schools. Guess it would throw up a kind of 'Club v Country' issue for some of the kids and parents. Just find the name 'Kids Cup' a bit misleading.

I thought as Hua Hin City were one of the names on the publicity, they would have had their academy entered - obviously not. A shame.

Thought likewise about Hua Hin City, could be wrong (let me know if I am) but didn't see their name on the fixture list I saw. We had kids whose schools were not/had not entered and wanted to play.

Sorry if I'm stating the obvious but - was it an 'invitation' to an event... or an event that already had all the teams that they wanted to participate, and wanted people to come and watch.
