Friday Night Muay Thai prices.

So what is going on around here and where does it happen? This section is for discussion on local events, festivals, and holidays as well as activities and things to do.

Friday Night Muay Thai prices.

Post by irishmedic »

I noticed that Farangs seem to have to pay 800 for the fights on Friday nights while it would seem locals pay 100....Is this because they are members of local fight clubs ? Is it because the level of the fighters is that good ? Didn't pay myself as it seemed a little excessive.... Can anybody shed some light on this ?

Prices may be negotiable depending on patronage numbers. Like every thing else negotiate on price. Walk away and see how much the real price can come down. Of course for 100 Baht you get to sit on the stand benches whereas for a higher price you get single seats which may or may not collapse under a medium size farangscweight

The quality is mediocre at best. You will see a lot better matches any weekend on the telly. By far!

Mostly staged with the same fighters vs the same fighters every weekend. They may actually have a real fight from time to time but they will go to BKK for that.

Not the same as being there but unless you just wanna say we went to a Muay Thai fight I would save my money.

Was just a bit surprised with the attitude as all negotiations were conducted in Thai , do they need to retain good seats at a middle price for the wealthy Bangkok Thais too possibly who are here for the weekend?
