Market Village Food Fun Fair

Post by Big Boy »

Market Village 5th to 17th April

I was down that way yesterday evening, and the Ferris Wheel certainly looked authentic, but whether it will be operational, I don't know. There were also other 'fairground looking' attractions, but whether they will be fairground attractions, or lookalikes selling food, I don't know.

The other thing I'm wondering is where Market Village's Foam Party will be this year. It is being advertised all over town, but there's a fairground in the way :?

Does anyone know if the funfair, ferris wheel etc is in operation during the day or is it a night time activity ?

They certainly go around during the day. Whether or not they stop to pick up passengers, I don't know.

The one in front of the main entrance had a few people sitting in a couple of cars as it went round today, about 3pm. Same yesterday.

OK guys, thanks, I will take a look tomorrow but earlier than 3. I haven't even seen the set up as as I usually go by bike and park in the basement so not been via the front entrance.

If anyone is thinking of going as it's the last day today, the rides opened at 12. The 2 ferris wheels at the front were working but no one manning them so I presume for show only. The roundabout and the ferris wheel close to the entrance are working and the ride is free, you just have to produce a receipt from inside MV.

Their poster says it runs until tomorrow - has it changed?

Oops, my mistake, when I read it last night I thought today was the last day.
