So what is going on around here and where does it happen? This section is for discussion on local events, festivals, and holidays as well as activities and things to do.
Did you get any replies re the bowling club? Do you know of any bowling greens around Hua Hin; I am trying to find one for my family to use while they are here in a few weeks.
Would appreciate any information you have. Many thanks.

(Tesco Lotus is first floor).
The bowling alley is half length lanes and is very expensive when we went there, once only, 4 adults and 2 children we had 2 games some fried pork nibbles and a few drinks, i probably had 3 or 4 the total bill was 2700 baht for just about an hour and a half.
Maybe there could be a niche in HH, for a real bowling green, bowling in the sunshine in such a beautifull place after all you do have some great golf course's a good family activity and maybe appeal to the 3000 + retired expat community.
I think it is such a shame that some places are just so pricy you go there once or twice but not on a regular basis, have a good time but it's down to cost. I know it's a free economic market but activity generates activity equals repeat business and makes a place like HH even better to visit i.e more things to do good for tourist and local alike.
Tenpin, flat green or crown green would all suit me

It’s none of my business what people say and think of me. I am what I am and do what I do. I expect nothing and accept everything. It makes life so much easier.

Kendo.
i have to agree i went the other day and i was not impressed by the prices, it put me off going back there.
I was talking about the idea of green bowling in HH, and also the fact that some places just charge to much to make me want to go back there again i.e the bowling in Market Village.
