Yes, I do. I am one of those 10 parents and would like my son to go to this school the next year )))

I can't P.M. you, my preferred choice, as I'm a newbie.
My question is, 'Is your son attending school at the moment?'

As we are aware, schools in Thailand are businesses so they should really consider advertising themselves here if they wish to use this forum to generate interest.

:agree: I'm a bit surprised that such a supposedly professional enterprise on this scale is leaving it up to potential customers to do their publicity.

Yes. He is studying at BECC right now. But it is only Nursery to Primary school, so we will have to change the school the next year.

Now the black mountain international school is up and running.

Has anyone any feedback what it's like.

Thanks

It was still a construction site quite recently, I'll probably be around that way later in the week and I'll see what progress there is.

I've actually had a wander around inside, and it's good. It actually reminded me of my old Junior School in the UK. The kids were well turned out and very well behaved. Of course, I can't comment on the level of education, but I was impressed.

My wife and I became aware of this school when we visited the Black Mountain Waterpark. I understand They are same as St. Andrews.
According to the web site they started up August 2015. Does anyone has any experience with this school so far?

Is the school accredited? I heard a rumour that it wasn't. I have some self interest about this, but i am not trying to rubbish the school; I just want to know if it is. i read their website but i can find nothing about accreditation

From their website: http://www.huahinschool.com/about-hua-hin-school/

We are licensed as an International School by the Thai Ministry of Education.

We have been accepted for accreditation by the Education Development Trust, which is one of only four organisations who are authorised by the Thai Education Ministry to carry out international accreditations in Thailand. EDT is a UK based organisation working internationally and in the UK. In the UK they inspect a third of all UK schools on behalf of OFSTED.
