Hi Dtaai-Maai

Honda Waves are still the fastest machines in Bangkok! Those bikes can weave in and out of the tightest traffic mess. I've been away from biking for many years, and only had the time (and resource) to get back into it in the last few years. I have to say, that I am enjoying very much getting back onto 2 wheels, and am seeing parts of Thailand that I have never seen before.

The BMW was certainly more than I had planned to spend, however, I really fell for it! Thailand is changing dramatically biking-wise. A bigger selection of Big Bikes is rapidly becoming much more available and affordable, and Thailand does have some wonderful roads to ride on.

Personally, I think this is great, and hope this trend continues (in my work, I am a supplier to the Automotive Industry, so I have both personal and professional interests).

Cheers to you too.

i would go but I just got back from a 1600 kilometer road trip on my new Versys during Songkran. Walked over the River Kwai bridge last week. My dad was a B26 pilot in the US Air Force during WWII. Very strange to think how different the world is now with tourists from all over the world walking over the bridge.
