Same shop can also customize your seat if you give them a photo of what you want, excellent service and will even deliver if not far from the shop.

Ah, thats good to know. I was deciding if I wanted a custom seat or just a recovering. Will consider the custom more seriously. Cheers StevePIraq.

In the end I decided to have the seat recovered only and wait until a few other things were completed before doing a custom seat. The shop recommended on Pala-U road (A few doors down from G Hotel on the left) was great and quoted 800 baht for a decent cover in black. When I went to pick it up today, not only was the cover done well, they had sorted the cushion too as they said the old was a little perished in places. He also gave me a further discount to 600 baht!! I left him a 100 baht tip and will spent the rest on a beer later. :)

Anyway, if anyone else is thinking of having something recovered, I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Is this the future for you bikers? Imagine hundreds of these loaded up with Thai families and dogs flying around the Hua Hin sois!

Hi, I am very interested, have a TDM850, but I will not use Facebook.
Do you have a mailing list to keep people informed, or perhaps via this forum?

Felipesed,

I believe the Saturday rides are still ongoing - 08:00 at El Murphys however communication is not always the best and we wouldn't want you turning up when no riders show. I'm working away from Thailand at the moment but do usually send an email (mailing list) when riding. Send me a P.M. with your email and I will add to my mailing list.
Alternatively - do you have Line messenger? We have a Line 'Bikers group' and I can add you.
I also cannot be bothered with Facebook.... 8)

You might also want to keep on eye on the bike weeks and plan trips round those. There will always be someone who will come along for an overnighter.. Details can be found on this forum.

Aside from myself; a couple of the regulars are also currently out of action due to sickness and other misdemeanors (no names mentioned :P ).

Cheers,
GN.

P.s. properperson... not forgetting about our breakfast date... sorry I've not be back in touch
