Selling a Car - How much?

This is not for me, but a friend. She wants to sell her car, which is 3 years old, fully maintained and genuine very low mileage (7,000 Km). It is literally the one little old lady owner (sorry ). Problem is, she doesn't have a clue how much to ask.

I'm sure I've seen links on this forum, which can be used to determine a price, but I can't find them. Can somebody please provide me a couple of these links for our friend?

I'd have thought that determining the value back home then doubling it would be a good yardstick!!!

Tell her to go to the local dealer, pretend to be interested in a new car, check what they will give her in part exchange. That will give a guide to the lowest price she can expect when she wants to sell.
