One or 5 years membership at Hua Hin Golfclubs

Post by HAPPYGOLFER » Fri Nov 24, 2017 9:48 am

For the last 10 years I,ve been playing golf in Hua Hin, I wonder if somebody know the price for one year or 5 years membership at the different golfclubs included maintenancefee and caddiefee
The prices for playing golf is going up every year, and even if I,m staying only a few months every it must be cheaper with a membership in one or two glofclubs

I haven't replied because I don't know about availability or prices. However, Springfield and Majestic Creek have 5 year memberships although I don't know if there's a limitless supply of them or you have to buy off an existing member. I think the same may be true at Lake View. Don't know about the other courses.
I don't think 1 year memberships are available anywhere but stand to be corrected.
Hopefully some others can chip in with more reliable information.

Don't know about other clubs but can tell you the situation at Lake View. All Lake View memberships expire in 2023. What happens then is anybody's guess. New memberships are not being issued but a membership can be bought from a current member. The price will go down as 2023 approaches. The current price is between 80,000-90,000 Baht (you may get a better price if someone is selling urgently). On top of this price there is a transfer fee which has to be paid to Lake View which is about 14,000 Baht. The yearly maintenance fee is about 13,000 Baht payable on 1st October each year. This maintenance fee does NOT have to paid. If not paid then the member must pay a green fee of 500 Baht for every round and the buggy fee is 750 Baht. If the maintenance is paid then there is NO green fee and the buggy cost goes down to 600 Baht. Thus if you play more than 25 times a year then pay the maintenance, otherwise don't pay it. The caddy fee is 350 Baht (the caddy receives 300 Baht from this) and the minimum tip is 300 Baht (except in very exceptional circumstances). This is probably by far the best deal being offered in Hua Hin although better deals can be obtained further away (Sawang, Kaeng Krachan, etc.).

A big thank you , then I know a little bit more about the current situation. I,ve got information about Sea Pine, 1 year membership 30000 bath and 300 bath for green fee and 300 bath fee to the club and of course tip to the caddie.
Palm Hill 50000 bath for 1 year and 350 bath (maintenance or caddie fee) + tip to the caddie

Springfield offers 3 year memberships. Not certain how much. Maybe 100 000 baht and the maintenance fee is 15 000 baht per year. Best deal at Springfield is lifetime memberships that can be bought off a member wanting to sell. Usually go for around 250 000 baht, which includes transfer fee. Banyan sells memberships but I think they are 30 years and they are quite expensive. Black Mountain only gives memberships if you buy a property.

Lakeview with 36 holes is an excellent deal as stated above and the courses are in very good condition.

I've got a 30 year membership of Majestic, about 27 years to run, for sale. Current annual maintenance 12,000 baht then NO green fees. Transfer fee 15k price negotiable.
Also have a Lakeview Membership will sell at reasonable offered price.
