Hasn't this been more or less an annual happening for some years now?

But it's nice to post the latest details, and there will be some newbies who weren't aware.

Always makes me smile when I see The Eagle at Milford and Kaeng Krachan are offering the special rate of 1000 baht during the festival. I am pretty sure their normal rate just now is lower than 1000 baht. Great deal for the likes of Majestic, Springfield, Lakeview and Palm Hills though. I hear good reports about Majestic now. Springfield will be back on the B course by then as well.

My question wasn't to critizice the info. I was merely wondering if this is the annual event I was thinking of. On the contrary, I think that this kind of info is good and necessary every time it happens.

Usual farce where golf festival price is higher.

Current price at palm hills every day until end of July is 800 baht.
Royal hua hin on Sunday, wed, Fri, it is 800 baht.
KM is 650 (or similar).
Eagle is 2300 (or similar) for 2 incl. Caddy and buggy.
etc....

^ And it seems the festival pricing itself seems to be inching up... when I used to play there most of the courses during the festival were 800 baht per round.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

With the Golf Festival just about to start, was wondering how all the golf courses are looking? I have only played at Springfield A and B recently. Thankfully the B course has now re opened, even if it is a bit rough, it is still more enjoyable than C course. The greens on A course are back to very good condition after being cored 4 weeks ago. Greens on B are ok but a bit slower than A. Fairways on B are not good and are very loose and sandy. The approaches on B have not filled out yet and have an alarming amount of weeds in them which will have to be removed. As long as you play preferred lies on B then it is still very good value for the Festival and I am sure the fairways will improve over the next 2 months.
Back in May I heard reports of Lakeview being almost out of water. Is this still the case? Really hasn't been much rain to speak of and we are overdue some downpours.
I hear good reports about Majestic. Has anyone played Seapine recently? I always enjoy playing it but have never been impressed by the conditioning.
Of course Black Mountain and Banyan are always in good condition. Always feel it is a shame that the other courses don't match their level of conditioning because all the layouts are good designs.

Are you looking for a game at all during this time HOM?

I'm recently back playing after having surgery a year ago and was going to use the reduced green fees at this time to try and dust some cobwebs away.

Please PM if you fancy a game on any of the courses.
