If you fly business class they give you a voucher to use it - depending on time of arrival, it can cut the time you need to queue to get through passport control to just a few minutes

Thinking of Bangkok Flight Services 850 bht they meet you and get thru immigration. Plus porter 250 bht is optional (I'm injured so may choose this extra) if anyone has any experiences I'm all ears

On what airline? On RT flights from BKK, the biz class vouchers I've used were only good for departure.Dannie Boy wrote:If you fly business class they give you a voucher to use it - depending on time of arrival, it can cut the time you need to queue to get through passport control to just a few minutes

Qatar do it for sure - used it many times

^ ANA as well, which is the connection feeder for United Tokyo given that they don't fly to BKK any longer.

I normally fly with Etihad and they provide fast track vouchers for arrival and departure - I assumed that was standard airline practice, but maybe not?Homer wrote:On what airline? If you're injured and need a wheelchair, tell the airline and they will arrange everything f.o.c. When I braught my Dad here they took us through diplomatic and we had 2 porters, one for pushing him and one for luggage. This was with Emirates

Have used BFS on two occasions in the past, and found them to be completely reliable and efficient.Did not use their porter service, only meet and greet.A representative meets the passenger at the top of the sky bridge and accompanies them through immigration, baggage collection, customs and delivers them to an agreed meeting point, usually the area at exit gate 3.

If you request assisstance at check in due to injury, they will give you assisstance through passport control too. No extra cost.thecolonel wrote:Thinking of Bangkok Flight Services 850 bht they meet you and get thru immigration. Hi Thisle. When they take you through immigration, is that a fast track lane where you can avoid the long queue? If so it could be worth it at the busier times at swamy.Thistle wrote:Have used BFS on two occasions in the past, and found them to be completely reliable and efficient.Did not use their porter service, only meet and greet.A representative meets the passenger at the top of the sky bridge and accompanies them through immigration, baggage collection, customs and delivers them to an agreed meeting point, usually the area at exit gate 3.
I have gone through the fast track a couple of times when it was really chaotic in immigration. No one asked for my voucher though.
On RT flights coming in, they often don't give business class passengers a voucher but if you have your boarding pass with you it is just as acceptable.
