Flight tracker does not give live coordinates, or they would know where MH 370 is

Back on topic did the ferry go today after the planned maintenance on 18/19th?

It is concerning (particularly while they only have one operational craft) that the boat has required 2 maintenance periods in the first 20 days.

The tracker shows it went back and forth about 20 times today but never more than a few km from Patts before turning back and there is nothing logged after 09:11 hours
on 17, 18 and 19 the ferry did a substantial number of trips from Patts each time turning around and going back after a few km. so I guess any maintenance must have been done at sea.

Just seen a post on FB that the ferry did operate and arrived and left HH today, this does not correspond to the tracking system, maybe they disconnected it for safety

 What a transformation!

I went down to Takiab today to book up for next week. The transformation was from this:

Somewhat amusing if using Tapatalk - the photos show in reverse order.

Does anybody know if they wil start regular service from the 1.st of february ? I had hoped to take it to Hua Hin on the second, but fear I will have to take a taxi from Pattaya instead.

We were at Takiab a few days ago and the girl at the ticket window said 1st Feb. Also, she said that the one way fare would be 999 baht until end of Feb, when it will then be 1250 baht.

Yes, but typical Thai company (not just the ferry company, but a Thai trait in general) - all publicity produced is in Thai. I expect this paid service to be mainly supported by Farang, so why not advertise in English/other languages as well (maybe Russian and Chinese :run: )?

I see the promotional cost for a VIP cabin (seats 8 ) is 14,000 Baht, but I've seen nothing about the promotional cost of Business Class, which is the one I'm most interested in.

Any idea what you get for Thb 1,750 per person, aside from the chance to get sea sick in, presumably reasonably comfortable, privacy??

I did take/post a blurred photo of a VIP cabin. I would think it would be quite claustrophobic with 8 people. Outside of privacy, I guess you'd be better off in Business Class.
