Getting elderly mother back to Bangkok airport

Post by Fcltd1 »

Hi guys,

Myself and family have a month in Hua Hin - loving it so far.

My mother is with us but needs to go back to Bangkok airport on Thursday, and wants to travel with other people - so a bus transfer would be ideal.

We've looked online but links seem to be broken, so I hope someone here can help.

What are the options?

Where do the buses leave from?

How do we book tickets?

Many thanks,

Graham

There is an active topic on this forum right now called "VIP Airport Bus" that is your answer... 305 baht on a great bus, safe driver and great reviews... Check it out the links and info are there

My mother loves this bus..it does not drive fast, & she's that busy looking out of the window at everything she wonders where the 3+ hours have gone..plus having a clean toilet on board get extra 'Brownie points' from her.

My mother is 89 and has to go back to the UK in a couple of weeks (after her 90 day visit). I can't imagine what her response would be if I told her she's going back on the bus!!
I will hire a motor for the day and deliver her personally.
