Went back to Khanom last weekend for a few days as we needed to get the kids Thai passports renewed in Suratthani. This time stayed on the main beach near the town but it was virtually dead, even in January. What tourists were there were 90% Thai, very few westerners.
The highlight of the trip was a little boat journey we took from Laem Prathap. The boat was 1,000 baht to charter and we spent a couple of hours going around the coast looking for wild dolphins. We finally spotted a few, including a rare pink one, they were not fed or coerced in anyway, so it was a great experience to see these creatures in the wild.

Nice!
The proper function of man is to live, not to exist. I shall not waste my days in trying to prolong them. I shall use my time.
