Don't forget to book in advance. It does tend to fill up quite quickly.

Essential, many times when exchanging my booking form for the bus tickets at the airport there is a sign that shows the next available bus; I have seen that show 5.30pm when I am about to board the 1130am departure.

Yes I have had to wait around at the airport for 3+ hours on occasion.

It's a shame, the buses are clearly filling up (in both directions - good luck getting a bus from HH to the airport on date of travel!), even in low season. That says to me that they need to be putting more buses on!

Thanks for the information. We have booked online in advance so I hope we get our seats.
Btw, do the bus take on or let of passengers on the route or doesn't it stop at all?

It stops in Cha-Am and at one of the hotels (Dussit Thani I think) if they have passangers wishing to go there. You can't get dropped off 'en-route', if that's what you're asking? - you can only get off at one of the three designated stops (Cha-Am, ?? Hotel, and Hua Hin Bus Station)
