Problems with a Thai wife, may be a worst situation. I have a friend who says
it is better to be single wishing you were married than to be married wishing
you were single. I just wished I had the problems with a girld friend. ha ha

how does one reach the age of most of you and remain so naïve? can you accept the fact that you're a temporary port in the ongoing storm that is the life of a bar girl or prostitute? if you find someone whom you can spend some time with and your willing to finance her for however long it lasts that should be enough. romance? love? you're not teenagers. just because she bullshits you about how wonderful, handsome, etcetera you are doesn't mean you have to go for it. have a good time for as long as it lasts then move on. you may find out that it lasts longer that way. marriage? white person, please. or as my step-mother succinctly put it when I told her that I was getting married, "Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?" well, of course, nothing is free but you can see the point.

I have a Thai lady since 6 years now,i come down to Thailand for couple of weeks every year...we travelled alot around in Thailand,i was happy to see many places i wouldn't have seen if i travelled on my own...and i payed while travelling,so we have a good time together...she introduced me in her hole family...what you want more?
May be i was lucky to find a good thai girlfrend...we never know how long the relationship will last,in Thailand or elsewhere, but most important is to have a good time spending together...

With all respect; I did derive a little pleasure from your discomfiture. Your post made me laugh ... Very funny stuff. My wife had a tortoiseshell cat that would lie on the extreme edge
of the bed; very weird ... Maybe she’s trying to tell you something.

Please keep pursuing your love interests; whether it’s with your current girlfriend or a new model. There’s enough suffering ... You need a bit of pleasure in your life. Good luck mate.

Thai girlfriend should be just booted if not 'on side'......Thai wife is more complicated as depends how far it goes and if it's retrievable or not, plus depth of involvement.....but obviously there are red lines and only those involved in the relationship know the deal.

If you want to bail, best to reposition all assets you can and do as much damage limitation as possible (grit your teeth), if it's a lost cause, with a wife before you actually make the jump.

Be cold and calculated as many act off-the-cuff in the heat of the moment.....not wise, as you lose everything as the cover is blown.
