@RabichBrown sorry. Corporate decision. No more Voranai.

I'm assuming events cut into his style and topics, and impossible for the Post to take risk with his opinions. Pete

Has the postscript been back in Bangkok Post for a long time now? I thought Crutchley had retired. Now for some weeks I've seen the postcript back on Sundays. Has it been there all the time? In that case, I've missed it for many years. Or has it replaced Voranai's Sunday column?

Old Crutch has been there all along, but is always difficult to find. I believe they have changed the names of some of the regular columns, but I don`t believe any of them have replaced Voranai.

I have read most of the posts written by this fellow, and it looks like he is following in Voranai`s footsteps. Do not be surprised if he goes the same way, as some of his reporting is sailing close to the wind.

What a great article. I hope all of you read that as it gives an insight to the Thai culture written by someone who also understands western culture. Thanks for the link, JD.

You 'ol boys are easy entertained.

The analogies are stupid and wrong. The story line self serving. I read it to the end but it was a struggle.

I thought it was crap.

Cheers!

I thought Voranai gave a quite accurate, current insight into a the mindset of a Thai modern day psyche.

centermid7, if you can elaborate on your reasoning, I would be interested in hearing your reasoning. Not being confrontational in any way, just interested in any debate plus or minus from what he stated.
