Just about a year ago
I set out on the road
Seekin' my fame and fortune
Lookin' for a pot of gold
Thing got bad and things got worse
I guess you know the tune
Oh Lord, stuck in Hua Hin again

In Thailand, there are worse things than boredom.

Ridiculously beating one's head against a brick wall trying to accomplish something here springs to mind.

Consider just rolling with it.

Thank you. I appreciate your comment. Very thing in red is something I have done in the past two years. That plus the challenge moving to a foreign country by myself without speaking the language. Getting setup here kept me busy for a few months.

I try to contribute some good content here while being called stupid by various forum members. I have begun to post again, but if the attacks and name calling continue, no more from me.

I've conquered my boredom by taking on the project of doing repair/fix it on the flood damage from 2011 floods in the house.
I looked at the project first and though it would be easy, but it is turning into a lot more.
Every wall I keep finding more to do to do and I have a long list of stuff that I'm not even sure if I can fix.
I recommend taking up household tasks for boredom.
Then again some may be living in accommodations that are rented so this option of conquering boredom might not be a route of action.

So how much are you saving a month- when compared with HHF"s comment?

With the risk od being concidered a nutter - I do read quite a bit of UFO literature written by people I find credible references on. I am not active beyond that but there are evidence of things unexplained which simply facinates me.

One of the best cases is the 100dreds of viewings of triangluar craft(s) over Belgium in 1990 - 91 which vere observed by 10a of thousands, with General of the Air Force going on national television stating that they did not knwo what these were. (MAybe they did). So, the phnomena was officially recognized.

I once did an internet search on UFO cases by country and Thailand has very little of cases reported. One angle to the phenomenon is psychological and cultural, another one is associated with level of military activity, experimentation with new trechnology and who has the funds to do do this, i.e. US, China and Russia.

So, a past time as leader of the Local UFO Watch Group may allow for some observational nights out but yield very little result?

He's saving a ton. California is the most expensive place to live in the U.S., apart from maybe New York City.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

coming from Los Angeles, my cost of living dropped 80%.
66% per month if i travel, buy Farang food or party a little.

but I had to give up my farang ways, live and eat like a Thai.
i don't drink, smoke, eat junk food, I live in a non european style house, no car.
ok, i do have air cond... and internet and a motorcycle, but all cheap compared to USA.

i am more free living in a military dictatorship than in the USA. :)
