The first one I can agree with, but certainly not the second. Decent bacon can certainly be sourced here. OK, if you're in a hotel, the best you're likely to be offered is crispy (burnt) streaky bacon, but an expat with half a brain should be able to find 'UK Standard' bacon.

Why not kill two birds with one stone, so to speak.
Hua Hin Ham and Bacon sells very good bacon and the guy that owns it, seems to have a very good brain to have been able to grow his business year on year.
