Re: Retirement Visa

Post by Johnf54 »

I have a combined income well exceeding the 65,ooo thb (private pension and property income), previously I put the 800,000 in the bank but more and more im seeing this as a waste of time and tying up money. Advice please

1. What is the process and cost for verification in thailand of proof of income
2. My visa is due for renewal in november, how near this date does the verification need to happen or can i do it now

Thanks in advance

The process for income verification depends on you nationality. Different Embassies have different standards so we need to know where you're from.
You can only apply for the extension within the last 30 days of your permission to stay.

No.
Your three options are 65k THB overseas income a month as evidenced by The Embassy, 800k THB in the bank (as you've been doing) or a combination of income and savings as long as the total is a minimum of 800k THB.
