90 day reporting
Re: 90 day reporting
That's right. because I'm the driver, I'm always there or thereabouts, but it's Mrs BB that does the business. Even on the annual extension I play a minimalist role - signing whenever necessary.

Do you mean you personally don't report or you don't report at all?
Likewise. When I was at my previous uni many years ago, one of the admin staff sorted out 90 day reporting for all foreign teachers. Since we moved here in 2006, Mrs D-M has always taken care of it on her way into town.buksida wrote:Because anyone can do it for you - 90 day reporting is not something you have to do in person.
This has been mentioned several times before. You could even get one of your BG friends to do it for you, Richard.
This is the way

RICHARD OF LOXLEY
It’s none of my business what people say and think of me. I am what I am and do what I do. I expect nothing and accept everything. It makes life so much easier.

Re: 90 day reporting
Did my 90 day report today (admittedly not in HH) and had to give them a copy of page one and two of blue house book plus a copy of the house owners ID card to verify that that was indeed where I was living.
This could be the next requirement they roll out. However, different immigration offices have different rules but this one could find it's way to more offices as time goes by. I guessed it must be really new as they were turning away foreigners who hadn't brought them and I only found out about it because a friend had gone a couple of days before and found out the hard way.
Just worth a mention but not sure if it will effect everywhere at the moment but don't be surprised if they suddenly decide that it's to be rolled-out at a moments notice nationwide.....if they haven't already and just not many know about it yet.

Anybody get one of those gold bars that Immigration were giving away today?
I arrived there at 08-15 am and there were 40 people milling around outside(I counted them). By the time the doors opened
at 08-30 am there were over 50, with more still arriving!
I gave up and went back just before 1-00 pm. Managed to get inside and claim the last remaining vacant seat. Took a number, 347, and the last number showing on the Q system from before lunch was: 295. Once they started calling numbers again there were many that must of given up and left. At 1-30 pm number 5 desk called out for 90 day reports, and about 10 people rushed to the counter, and I hobbled over! Of course, my passport ended up on the bottom of the pile and was last to be processed! He called me over at
1-45 pm. I checked the passport before leaving the desk and there was no receipt in it! Because I was still standing there I got glared at, and then disputed when I told him why I was still there. He ended up having to print another receipt.
By this time all the gold bars had been taken.

90 Day Reporting at Hua Hin Immigration
My 90 day check in was due yesterday.arrived at HH Immigration about 2pm.just inside the door a school girl in uniform was alongside the ticket machine.can I help you she asked.I told her why I was there.she got my ticket for me.asked me to take a seat.it was fairly busy.I noticed another school girl who was collecting completed passports from behind the office area and delivering them to the waiting people.never in 5 years have I seen this.after no longer than 3 minutes a staff member walked over asking if anybody wanted 90 day reports done.she collected passports, paperwork.after not even 5 minutes she called my name.all done.wow.red carpet treatment.never been in and out this quick before.maybe the school girls were training.
Re: Immigration
Yes, they've been there for a while now.
As for red carpet treatment, you timing was impeccable. Yes, they collect 90 day reports periodically - it just happened that you walked in at the right moment - well done.

90 day report
Did my latest 90 day run to HH Immi. today (the new Big Brother Form was not mentioned...)
On arrival, there were only 2 people outside, a man at the desk and his schoolgirl assistant. My m/c taxi driver went to check that Immi. was actually open - which it was.
Went inside to find only 3 people waiting in the silly seats. When I left after 10 mins. the seats were empty. That was a first in my 2 1/2 years of visits...
Is everyone processing their 90 tickets online now, or was I just lucky?

Re: 90 day reporting
I read recently, on another blog, that it is now possible to do the 90 day reporting online throughout the country, so I assume said reporting can be done for those living in Hua Hin. I would greatly appreciate Any information regarding this matter. Sid L.

As you will see, it is very hit and miss. I've managed to get it working once. Last time I tried over 100 times, and couldn't get it to work.

Copies and originals of which documents do I need to produce when attending Immigration for 90 Day Reporting.
Re: 90 day reporting
Just you, your passport, with current report form stapled inside, and TM47 form filled in. That's it.
