That would explain a lot - will ask them today after driving to Prachuap through the flood for 2 hours ... :banghead:

It would, but I was successful a couple of attempts ago, and have failed everytime since, so it sounds unlikely.

I am still convinced that it's a stupid locking problem, and Thai programmers go to the same school that MOD use. Get the basic information, then lock the record until that transaction is complete. I failed so many pieces of software for that reason, and the system is so easy to fcuk by a malicious user. [Edit] Or, dare I say it, an Immigration Officer trying to protect his job.

Please let us know what they say.

That's your problem methinks. You have to apply at least 7 days before the due date. (I think).

I tried it relentlessly last week and got the same error.

Yes, it has to be between 15 and 7 days of the due date, after that it will not work. And I have never either registered or been asked to do so.

It's intentional, don't kid yourself - I was one day late on the 90 day, they made $58. Something like a week late on my one year and they made $300 something. If they couldn't make $ on us they would throw us out of the country in a nanosecond.

Can you evidence that you indeed paid $58 for a 1 day late 90 day report, when in fact the fine is 500 baht ( approx $14).

More fool you if you paid it.

To be honest your entire post is utter nonsense, ( as per most of your previous efforts at sensationalizing!!!)

Okay corrections, one day over the 7 day grace period, 2000 B, and $58 should be $56 USD at $28 per 1000B. But all that is not the point smart guy - which to repeat, is WHY THE THAIS WON"T FIX online reporting. Tell us smart guy, what's your opinion on why they won't fix it?

^ Perhaps immigration's IT department is technically incapable, which their other web pages tend to confirm.

You missed a deadline by a whole week and you're complaining? Perhaps the grace period should have a grace period?

As expected, went into Dansingkhon immigration today, only one person working and many waiting. When I asked about the dysfunctional online reporting website I got the following reply:

"Qué ? What online reporting website ? Come to immigration office better."

If they can build BluPort they could fix it in ten minutes if they wanted.

SORRY what on earth have the owners of BluPort got to do with the failings(?) of the Immigration 90 day reporting website?
