That's Brill and very pleased that you're experience was painless.
Decided that we shall go over to London and get the initial visas and all required stamps etc on relevant docs.
A massive thank you to all contributors on this topic and good to get to know you.
We hope to be out full time by July of this year and all things being equal, will be regular contributors on this most valued of tools. Good luck everyone.

Good evening all. Well, we didn't make it out last year as planned, herself had back surgery that didn't turn out as we hoped. We are however , off to the Embassy in London on Tues 7th and hope to have visas (O.A) the following day and be out in a fortnight or so. Pretty much sure that we have all necessary docs in our hands so to speak Passports, bank statements, cops and doctors certs, marriage cert etc etc. Tried calling the Embassy several times but despite holding on whilst being told by a recording that "my call is important to us and please hold" for over an hour on each occasion no one actually bothers to answer. If anyone has had a recent experience in London and any updates on additional docs required it would be good to hear from you..
