Also need to be aware of obscure days that rewards tham with extra holidays. I called in yesterday to do my 90 day report, only to find it closed because of 'Royal ploughing day'!

Just popped in and literally no customers. 5 staff, all very friendly. They do 90 day reporting, but don't do the yearly renewal.

Good coffee outside, but I can never see having to wait that long to have enough time to get one.

Can see HH immigration being the envy of the rest of Thailand !

Give it a go. They do look bored :-)

Yes, I did mine last week. Took my number, got one cheek on the chair and my number was called. The guy even smiled.

As you have made previous references to putting your cheek on a chair Big Boy, and then having said chair collapse, can you tell us if those chairs are suitable for even normal sized cheeks? 8)

I didn't get to test it properly, but they seemed up to the job.

No, I asked that question last week, and was told I had to go to the main office.

will they do all 90 day reporting? I stay just over the line into Cha am near the Sheraton. The Bkk office stated that they should be able to do it considering the online reporting was an option.

Did my 90 day today. In and out in about 5 minutes. Friendly, English speaking service. Comfortable office.

Latest guess on the new immigration building move is July.

Whilst living in Korat, I did 90 day reports in Khon Kaen and Hua Hun without any problems.

However, when I went to do my 2nd successive 90 day report here, whilst 'in-between' addresses, I thought there might be an issue and asked my other half to come along. They did pick up on the fact it was my 2nd attempt in a row for an out of province report, but after a brief discussion with the other half, she was asked to quickly complete a declaration of our new address, after which the 90 day report was completed.

The worst they can do is say no.

Went to bluport immigration for 90 day reporting just before lunch today with only a few people there. Process went smoothly and with courtesy. I had noted mini IPads across the front of each counter facing customers. At the end of the reporting process the immigration officer asked if I would complete a survey on the iPad. It was a Quality Assurance on how the process was conducted by immigration and how I would rate it based on my perceptions. I was somewhat intrigued by the last question which was integrity based. and Whilst the English was a little ambiguous it went along the lines whether the officer requested by any personal benefit as part of the process. Certainly a step in the right direction be it a small one. Perhaps someone may come up with the idea of an App to to evaluate the integrity and ethic of other bureaucratic interactions.
