Accountants

Post by simonrogers1975 »

Is there a large demand for accountants here?

Appears that most try and get away with paying anything. Bearing in mind that the UK tax system is next to being completely useless I am surprised that the Thai's are any more organised.

I have been looking to set up a business in Hua Hin but rarely thought about carrying on the accountancy for the above reasons. Is it worth a shot?

Also I am looking forward to getting out to Hua Hin and getting involved in all sorts of activities to prosper the area, such as volunteering to help out with organising events etc. Admin, do let me know where I can help

Thanks

Simon

Nomad,

Thanks for the info, do you use Wan?

Does Wan deal with the UK tax system as well as Thai. My aim would be to set up an accountancy firm that deals with both so that the benefits may be yielded from both countries.

I will go and speak with Wan if you feel they are very good and consider a joint venture.

Cheers

I do not use her. She seems to be well respected with the only compaint that I have heard is that she is very busy. Her fees seem resonable becuse no one has complained to me about them. English and Thai tax law dovetailed together? That is a special field that many people might be interested in. No more guess work and shooting darts. I encourage you to look furthur into this as many people could use your services.

Are there any more thoughts on a combined service of Thai and English tax matters? Are there any people in here that have a Thai business and sends mote back home or vice versa?

I would be interested to know what tax you currently pay.

Cheers
