The "engineers" have put in some culverts that have helped considerably, but it's too bad that hadn't been considered and acted upon before they threw up a bunch of houses.

I was especially saddened to see a young woman who'd recently given birth being helped off of the rescue boat, unsteady on her feet even with help - and probably pretty much in shock.

I am very sorry for all involved who were effected by the flooding. They lost so much.

John, I hope your girlfriend is recovering from both the bite (scary) and the emotional trauma. And you, too. Hope you are doing okay. It's hard to feel the temporary helpless in this kind of situation when there's so much you want to do. The emotional support you provide is immeasurable, though.

Take good care,
Suzanne

Post by domeneci »

Hi,

Can someone be kind enough to update on the flood situation? Is everything back to normalcy, the roads are all usable? Thanks in advance!

Hua Hin has been largely dry with no flood water remaining however there has been major flooding in Bangsapan, two hours south.
