My first time in Hua Hin
My first time in Hua Hin
Hi guys, my name is Fabio and I will be in Thailand in the first days of new year. I've been several times in Bangkok, Phuket, Chiang Mai, but this is my first time in Hua Hin. I would like to make a reservation for my staying there, but I don't know anything about the local hotel and their rules. I wish to book an accomodation where our girlfriends are admitted...Could anybody help me to find a good hotel without hateful receptionist? Thanks in advance.

Easy tiger!! If you use the search function on the forums (it's not easy to spot, or at least I always struggle to remmeber where the button is) there is a vast amount of inormation on hotels in the town. There's something to suit every budget and usually no issues with guests.
Happy surfing and enjoy your holiday.

Fabione,
You could look here http://www.huahinafterdark.com/hua-hin- ... okings.php, although I doubt whether they will say anything about their guest policy.

In general I would be wary of any blanket statement that says "almost all are guest-friendly." While I don't know anything about Hua Hin (yet), I have read numerous reports from BMs being charged hefty fees (1,000+ baht) just to bring a girl into their room. I know of a couple in Phuket that are located in AMAZING locations on or next to Bangla Road that are very, very strict about this. Pattaya has lots of these places too.... I mean come on, Pattaya?
Thanks, I'll look into these!sandman67 wrote:hi fabione
id try, from personal experience, either Top Marks hotel or the Sand Inn...both girlfriend friendly, central, and good accom. Also the London Guesthouse.....
Merry Xmas matey
A friend of mine stayed in Top Marks over Xmas/New years and confirmed it was guest friendly, nice spot too not too far from the main bar areas but far enough away at the same time.SoCo MoFo wrote:In general I would be wary of any blanket statement that says "almost all are guest-friendly."
