This is a really brilliant use of Websites for marketing, and shows the power and influence of the Web these days.
Fot those of you who haven't seen the TV ad - it's actually for an insurance comparison website called 'Compare the Market.com' using a spoof site 'compare the meerkat'
The main meerkat character has now gained cult status on Facebook and Twitter and IMO is the biggest thing since the Crazy Frog!

you're quite right about the cult status, best advert on tv, especially the bit where he mouths the words to his own jingle :D :D :D

why have they all got Russian names?

that one on the site looks like a bloke who works for me......displaying his patent "Oooooh this is gonna be expensive" smile.
