There is one in Pattaya, a couple in Bangkok and one in Phuket, and as i say there was to be one being built in one of the newer developments in HH. If it hasn't happened then that's ok, i'll just have to travel further afield for a game.
Unfortunately the Bangkok club is quite class oriented, especially when they used to come play on Pattaya, and the Pattaya club go play in Bkk.
If anything, an all-weather surface club in hh would be a big hit, and i'm sure many Expats would use the facilities also.
Thx for the responses.

Unbelievable comment :thumb:
I thought you've have appreciated a "bias" by now. It's a bit like golf putting but the ball is weighted so curves - and misses anyway.
As a kid, I used to try the game up in Scotland on family holidays. Good fun.

Watch out for the ladies, they cheat.

This pic is called Foul stroke, by Beryl Cook. Always makes me laugh.
I've lost my mind and I am making no effort to find it.

Don't they always?....a fair maiden always has the advantage!

I believe the development that was building a bowling greena was Zepher Valley, but I did hear that they had shelved the idea, in favour of a squash court or something like that.
More's the pity really. I think that both holiday makers & ex-pats would enjoy a game....it is very civilised.

Sjpthsuk -

In answer to your original question here is a link to
the "Hua Hin Country Club" site which I believe is what you were referring to.

Yes Zepher Valley rings a bell - such a shame, but squash is also an enjoyable game.

Didn't know HHCC were going to build but are they not the development that didn't get off the ground (i think i read it somewhere, or maybe it was another one).

Such a pity there wasn't something like that around HH - the guy in Phuket, built his own green, so maybe it's something for me to think about in the future, only problem here is getting a rai of land and getting things built (and the right grass seed). After that it's a dawdle, as we all used to help out back in Scotland to maintain the green (cutting, rolling, etc.,)

thanks for all the feedback, even the daft responses regarding the sandwiches.
