I have been to hua hin a few times and would like to settle there, it is far more serene than the likes of pattaya and phuket.
Just curious to know if there are any other places in LOS that are similar or better, and why.

Re: The best place in Thailand
I personally like Hua Hin. However, I know many are looking at the Bang Saphan area http://www.bangsaphanguide.com/ , which is a lot more serene.

Re: The best place in Thailand
I've been all over Thailand for the last 6 years and imo Hua Hin is the best place to live if you can afford it.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?
