taxi after dark

hi guys, first time posting.

i will be in cha-am soon and plan to visit hua-hin for a day. will get there by taxi and plan on returning back to cha-am same day 9 -10 pm, will taxi's be still in operation ? thank you. oh...also, how much the taxi fare one way ?

Welcome to the board.
No problems getting a taxi to Cha-am at that time, one way fare is 200 baht.

You can also get them later but may have to hunt around and the fare will probably be more.

would have love to check out some sanook areas or have a cold one with the locals ( members ) but on this trip, my lady friend will be tagging along so......well, next time, thanks again !
