Jer gan mai VS! (Thats a new one - must try to remember.)
But reading through posts again in relation to what is, or is not poilte, reminded me of a TV prog in the UK last week. It was a Masterchef special in ChiangMai. The contestants ended up having to cater a banquet for a revered Prince and his guests.
One contestant made a rainbow layer cake with kiwi fruit, mango and stuff. The Prince looked at it and said - (very politely of course) -'I do not see this green colour in rainbow therefore I cannot eat'. Bless him. He did polish off the other two desserts though.
I wonder how many farang could politely say what he said but in Thai?

When the so called prince said that, I think I would have replied to then put it where the sun don't shine and just forget about any colours. Pete
