Construction work new Red Bar

Does anybody know if they have started construction work to add more floors to the new Red Bar building in soi Bintabaht and if so is the bar closed during construction (I will come to Hua Hin second half of February and I always visit Red Bar).

Red Bar is closed right now - as is the bar next door (formerly Tina Bar). Apparently the work that is being done right now is to remove the overhang which reaches out into the soi - apparently that was put there in contravention to the planning consent. Whether building work will continue or not, I don't know. But as of last night for sure, the 2 bars were closed.

I was told last night that Red Bar will be closed for one month during this construction period.
