Timer for sprinkler system

Post by mo1 »

Does anyone knows where I can get a timer with 10 minutes (or less) divisions for my sprinkler system?
I have found 20 minutes divisions however thats too long for my needs.
Thanks

Are you looking for a single on off timer, or a progam timer? Horrible Pro has program timers, and I think that I saw both types at Thai Watsudu.

Thanks Nereus, what I am looking for is to turn my system on for 10-15min (max.) once or twice a day
I looked at both venues you suggested but no bananas.

Erm, still not clear if you want a single on / off timer, or a program timer to run separate zones. :?

The following has both types, and they will post them to you if you pay by ATM. I use a Nelson program timer that controls up to 9 zones. The system also uses the 24 Volt solenoid valves supplied by the same place. All good quality products.

I have used this device for the past 6 years running a 3 HP motor. The contacts are for a 16 Amp resistive load but it works on my inductive load. The back EMF on cutting off the pump does not seem to have affected the unit. It comes on 4 days a week for 6 min and drains a 3000 Lit tank.
The internal battery is supposed to last 6 years and mine is still working.
Order via RS is simple. Go to the site in Thailand and if you use Google Chrome it will translate to English. You will ,need to register. Alternatively you can use the UK site but order via the Thai one.
The order telephone number is 026486868 and they speak English.

Thank you all for the info, all my sprinklers are connected to one pump, one zone, on/off timer but no more than 10 min at a time
