Jaguar enters the luxury SUV market
Jaguar enters the luxury SUV market
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?
Re: Jaguar enters the luxury SUV market
Fantatsic to see Jaguar taking massive steps forward, they are now producing fantastic cars all with the help of Ford who are also so much better than they were in teh 80s and 90s. I sold Jags from 1999 for 3 years and it was a pleasure to be involved with the brand - back then the cars where still quite a way behind BMW and Audi in quality terms but they have made great steps forward and are now right up there

Ford sold Jaguar to Tata back in 2008.
Actually I think it is since the India acquisition, that Jaguar has started to move forward

Not withstanding the fact that Tata are investing large sums into Jaguar-Landrover, it takes a good number of years to bring investment into fruition, so some of the current good work has to be credited to Ford. Hopefully the new injection of capital will allow Jaguar to compete favourably with their Germanic counterparts.Winkie wrote:Ford sold Jaguar to Tata back in 2008.

Indeed, Jaguar have been involved in Luxury SUVs for some time; the latest high-end Range Rover (from JLR) will set you back over £120k! They announced today they are investing £1.2bn in a new Aluminium Technology Centre at their site in Warwickshire and creating over 2,000 jobs. For them it seems the recession is over.

Certainly a lot easier on the eye than Bentley's effort.
