A quick read of this board and look around suggests the main condos/appartments for long term rental, that in the range 6-8000b are Condo Chain, Sport Villa (and maybe the Hua Hin Villas behind, which I gather are owned and part of Sport Villa), or the Amara Inn. Otherwise it's a stand alone house.
The main thing we would like is NO noise (whcih I realise is probably impossible in Thailand). But specifically, no dogs or screaming kids, or karaoke. So I'm thinking a condo type situation would be the best option.
I see that Farang thinks Condo Chain and Sport Villa are OK for a SHORT time... well wherelse does one go? Looking for min of 30 sqm, studio is ok, don't need cable, but tv would be nice, fridge, fully furnished. A pool would also be nice, but maybe not essential.
