Re: Hua Hin Area Photo Thread
I was trying to give you some photos I got of Kite surfing at Hua Hin but the format I have is too large. Nice to see the ones that you have posted.

Re: Hua Hin Area Photo Thread
Big Boy, I don't know if it is possible using this forum engine or not, but another forum that I am a member of automatically shrinks photos for the user when they are attached. It may be easy to do in this engine too and I'm sure you would then get more photos posted. It's easy for me with a single click using a free Microsoft tool but others may think it's just too much trouble.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?
Re: Hua Hin Area Photo Thread
Its not possible using the current software.
Here's how to do it for those that need help: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=16714

Appears your camera has a big spot on the lens or sensor. Look just above the left most 2 kitesurfers.Stargeezer wrote:My try again Hua Hin Kite surfing

Re: Hua Hin Area Photo Thread
Ref my Kite picture, yes I have since cleaned my lens, must be getting old and forgetful.
I have seen that Big Buddha statue several times, one only 2 days apart. Long story, but I do like to spend my time at the beaches, The Suan Son Beach and some to the south are my favorite beaches
less tourists, no rocks, less or no jelly fish make the distance worth the visit.

Pictures of Hua Hin Beach with Kite sailing, and Beaches south of Hua Hin on the way to and including Dolphin Bay Beach in 2010 or 2011, also a rainy day in Hua Hin, and an Observatory at Hua Hin which houses a nice Ritchey Chretien telescope about 20 inches or so in diameter.

Wat Khao Sannam Sai (Not sure about spelling)
I drive the Hua Hin to Pranburi road fairly regularly. I’ve often seen the huge Buddha flags high on the hill as you approach the Vet Hospital on your left, and Banyan on your right. It has always intrigued me as to what they represented.
A couple of weeks ago I saw a taxi loaded with Farang turn into a road at the foot of the hill, and I concluded that must be the entrance. I noted where the entrance was and made a mental note to return.
This was a fantastic find, and one that we will take visitors to. It gives views that are on a par with Hin Lek Fire. I just found it hard to believe that I’d been coming to Hua Hin for so long, and did not even know of its existence. It’s amazing what is on your own doorstep that you just don’t know about.
It was just a shame about the damned mist that seems to be everywhere at the moment.

Brahma Shrine
I've driven past the road sign dozens, if not hundreds of times. At long last, curiosity got the better of me.
