I was last month in Hua Hin with my friend first time in Thailand. And of course we "Get lost" :D Sugarcane bar. In this way we find Sugarcane bar -> On the previous evening we meet Chris (Sugarcane boss???) in some bar and he said come next night my bar. Chris has then on the Chelsea shirt and we were "sold out" because we are big British football supporters.

It was very friendly and good place. Me and friend like it this bar. And if I come to next summer HH, I'm sure that I come visit again to Sugarcane bar.

Hello Joni,

I hope you are OK and not getting too cold in North. Some people have told me that there has been much snow this year in the whole region.

I look forward to your return and a few more beers. My doctor has said that is is OK for me to drink again but only in selected bars.

Best of wishes to you.

Some bars in Hua Hin are OK some are a pile of old pants.
Personally Ive started drinking slightly out of town as i am bored by the same old poop!
I have found a growing band of ferrang that feel the same.
I'm not going to name the bars as i don't want anyone else going there.....ha ha ha.

Yes I'm fine. It's true than there is lot of snow and it's good think, because now I get skiing. Weather is now extremely "warm" only -7 Centigrade.

Now is sure that I come Hua Hin next summer and I'm 3 weeks in HH. Day is when I come is June (23.6).
Hmm... yet about four month and ten days.

Of course I come to take few beers in Supercane bar. Do you have some special offers for me?

Sugar Cane Bar

Post by PeteB »

Although I am always rather reluctant to resurrect oldish posts, I thought that this was the time to do it.

Whilst we have visited Hua Hin several times in the past, Sugar Cane, was new to us. Although a smallish bar, the first thing that struck us was that the music was being played at a sensible level - just right for my wife and I.

Several people were drinking in the bar - and a good mix of nationalities. The pool table was always busy! Drinks were cheap, service from the owners, Oi and Chris, and their daughter was excellent.

We visited this bar more than any other..........a great place to start or finish an evening!

Mant thanks

Sadly, back in Oz. Thanks Oi and Chris, and especially Duan. See you next year, Ken

My favourite bar is in Bang Saphan, at Suan Luang - Coco Bar, open mainly during the day, on the beach. Montri has cheap beer, great music, and great conversation. His slogan is "probably the best bar in Thailand, sometimes". No girls or pool, though.

Thank you Ken. We look forward to your return. Sorry it was a bit hectic when you came the last time. Give our regards to Billy.

Duan misses the contents of your trousers so much.

Sugar Cane welcomes you back.

Voted the best bar in Hua Hin three years in a row.
Well stocked fridge. Good music, pool, cable and UBC TV. Water features, fish, no hassles no chocolate starfishes.

The contents of my back pocket, I imagine. How are the contents of your trousers, Chris - I mean the gammy leg. And hello to Duan.
